Why can't I see the cases area from the top level of the forums?

Why can't I see the cases area from the top level of the forums?
We're told to only post case related stuff in the cases forums, but it sure seems to be difficult to post in the proper areas... ;)

Because it is a sub-forum of the Gear forum - it was created after posts relating to cases started to crop up in the Gear forum and folk were repeating posts for "XYZ Case" as they were not using/could not use the search function.

We are looking at the structure of the forums and may be compacting some topics and expanding others.
