My current iPod earphones are starting to go bad. I am planning on buying a new set of earphones. Can anyone please suggest if I should buy the Apple Earphones or should I buy some other earphones?

I would buy other ones.
Cans: Sennheiser HD 212 Pros - 45$ w/ Free shipping at amazon.com, for some reason everywhere else is selling it for 80$.
Earphones: Senn MX500, Apple in Ears or if you can drop some cash: Etymotic Er-6i's.

Give us a budget, first. Easier to help you out. I'll plug the Sony EX71's; US$46 + shipping from Audiocubes (http://audiocubes.com). They're in-ear's (canalphones).

apples in ear phones are pretty good but for home i use koss ur15c

i got my shure e2c and pretty happy with it. the sound quality is not that huge impovement. but, to me, comfort and sound isolation are more important. i dont have a pair of golden ears to feel the difference between cheap headphones and expensive ones.
