Hello, as everyone I got the stock earbuds with my 4g 20gb, and they were great until I lent them to a friend for his minidisc. He blasts his music and everyone can hear it. After that I was making someone listen to my ipod also and I think she also blasted the music becuase I could hear it threw everyone talking. When I took my stuff back, I listened to it and it sounded like SH*t! All of a sudden they like died and they sound like a$$. Is it the blasting music that killed my earphones?

I wouldn't doubt it,but you can call apple and they might actually give you the in-ears as a replacement. But im pretty sure that is what caused it.

yup that's what caused it, I get paranoyed when someone uses mine, cuss usually they blast them really loud and it freaks me out hehe, I've gone through 2 pairs of apple earbuds in a couple months

Oh one more thing warranty continues until the year is over right? like once I replace the earphones, later on if somethign is wrong with my ipod they can fix that too right?

I signed up for an apple id, so i can get apply for new earbuds, but they say that they don't have my information on their system!? How does that make sense if I just signed up?
