my new iPod and iSkin :) have a question too

Got the iPod on Saturday and put the iSkin on right when I took it out of the box. Here are the pics!

why not keep the iskins and buy the artic and have a back up case i have an artic and a belkin then when not in use i put in a paded small camera case that hold the charger and everything.

why would I need a backup case?
