Where to get a case besides on the net?

I am getting a 4g ipod on friday, i was wondering where else i can get a case besides on the net, like which mainstream stores carry them. I just need sometin to hold me over until I get a good case off the net.

You can go to the apple site and use the store locator to find a location near you. Besides the Apple Store, try an authorized retailer of apple products.

best buy carries the dlo action jacket for the 4g, and the jam jacket for the 3g, so i assume they'll have the jam jacket for 4g when its available.

fry's carries the contour showcase.

If you're looking just for something to get you by until you can figure out what you need from a "real" case (like i was) then swing by Best Buy or any electronics or camera store and take a look at the digital camera cases. I picked one up that fits my 40G quite well, has a pocket on the front, and cost a whopping $12.

Does Fry's really carry the Contour Showcase for the 4G iPods?

I went there a couple days ago and they just had the 3G ones.

if you read the comments under ipodlounge's review of the countour showcase 4g, some people have said they got theirs at fry's.

The Apple Store and COMP USA are the two stores I have found to have the best variety of iPod cases. More than just one or two, actual variety.

CompUSA carries skins by Speck, so unless they go for a change, I doubt it.

the reseller info on iskin.com doesn't say anything like that. not in illinois, anyway..
