Hi
I want to connect my ipod to my 2001 Honda Accord.
I have an in dash 6 CD changer that is factory installed. From what I understand (this has only been confirmed by one person) if I were to remove the head unit I would find that I lack the auxiliary input hole that takes the auxiliary input adapter. So, my choices are to replace the head unit with a single disc cd player for the honda or replace the radio all the way.
I saw the Auto Kit for iPod by Belkin. I take it that all it will do is power my Ipod unless I buy a 3.5mm audio out cable that would connect to my car stereo---thus needing that auxiliary input hole.
I am kind of confused because I have seen some $70 auxiliary input adapter, I've seen this belkin deal, they also have the Mobile power cord and the Sik cable.
All I want to do is get my ipod into my car and let the wires rest behind the stereo. I am having trouble getting a list of what I need and the documentation provided here was great, but I kind of felt confused still.
