Will new 4G iPod work on existing 3G iPod on WindowsXP computer?

Hello,

I currently have a 3G 15 gig iPod on my laptop, and was wondering if I could add a 4G 20 gig iPod? Will my computer recognize the new 4G iPod? Will my computer still recognize the 3G iPod? Is there anything special i need to do with iTunes? Is There anything I need to do during the installation of the new 4G iPod or can I just plug it in and my computer & iTunes will recognize it? Please help.

Just go ahead and plug the new iPod into the laptop, you shouldn't have any trouble at all using more than one iPod with iTunes.

I found that I needed to load the iPod installer software again for each iPod but I now have a 3G, 4G and Mini all working on the same XP PC with no problems.
MAKE SURE YOU SET THE IPODS TO MANUAL SYNC.
Otherwise you will wipe your Tunes.
