Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I lost the play list on itunes but did not loose the song file. I want to bring the playlist back to the pc from the iPod. I purchased Anapod and hoped to do this. But I am unable to figure out how to make this move. Any suggestions? Tx for the assist.

This is from the online user guide from Red Chair.
You can either drag and drop, or you can right click the file and select copy to computer.
When transferring a iPod playlist back to the computer, Anapod does the following:
1. Creates a folder at the transfer destination on your computer with the same name as the playlist.

2. Transfers all files referred to in that playlist to the newly created folder.

3. Generates an M3U playlist in the folder that refers to the newly transferred files.

Some people ask why Anapod has to transfer the files to your computer when copying a playlist. The answer is that a playlist file on the computer must refer to music files on the hard disk of your computer. It cannot refer to music files on the iPod.

In a future release we will be adding the ability to backup your iPod playlists. This will allow you to generate backup files of your iPod playlists on the computer. These files will not be usable on your computer though. They can only be used to restore playlists at a later time on your iPod (assuming it still carries all the audio files referred to in that playlist).

Hope that helps
