well i made the switch from a 2nd gen 10gb, to a 3rd gen 30gb, and i bought it and it did not come with the software, so i cant use my old 2nd gen software, and i was wondering where i could get the software for the 3rd gen, or if any of you guys have it. thanks.

Download the updater here (http://www.apple.com/ipod/download) and use this. It will put the current software onto the iPod.
Then go here (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download) and get iTunes and install it.
Import your music in to iTunes library and you can connect, then transfer the music onto the iPod.

i downloaded those, but when i plug in my ipod, all i get is the apple logo, then it goes to a picture of a folder with an exclamation point. so in itunes, nothing happens, and on the updater is says to plug in an ipod, and i plugged in my 30gb, and nothing happened. ahhh whats wrong?!
