I ordered this the Neo Ion yesterday and just ordered proclips as well. It's adapter that plugs directly into the back of your stereo. It's tight.

so in concept its tight, but you havent even used it yet. report back when you do.
but now that i think about it, it seems like a piece of poop. price seems kinda steep for what you get, control the ipod through the stereo (no browse capabilities though, only ff/rw and next/previous track) but not disable the buttons on the ipod. so you still select all the songs from the ipod itself, why pay the extra 100+ dollars to skip to the next track with your car stereo? seems quite the rip off to me.

Well, I don't like wires and hate clutter, it connects like a cd changer. How sweet, not really worried about the cash, I just rather do it right. I'll be sure to take photos and report back. The product is brand new and cutting edge.

I have the Neo Ion installed in my car. The reasons I did it is because my car is worth too much to go stuffing around with wires in the back and because I want to change songs without taking my hands off the steering wheel. Anyway now that thats out of the way... Three annoying things about the Neo Ion that I am contacting the manufacturers about:
I have noticed the volume output from the ipod is much less than the CD stacker was. I read somewhere this can be changed I think, but I couldn't find it anywhere so who knows...
Sometimes the Skip forward button on my steering wheel will not go to the next track. To alleviate this I press skip back once and from then on skip forward works every time.
If I leave the iPod connected and turn off my car the IPod powers down automatically, but then begins charging, which could drain my cars battery. Not that I'm stupid enough to leave an iPod sitting in my unattended car in full sight of any passers-by.
If you have any of these problems let me know

What kind of car do you have? Please let me know if neocaraudio provides you with a response. Apparently these things aren't going to advertised (heavily) until after the first of the year.

I have an audi allroad.
When they got back to me they said
1. Some models of car won't rewind/cue.
2. The battery of my car will not drain chargin an iPod's little battery
3. The audio out level cannot be changed (which leads me to believe that it must have been the icelink which allows you to do this... or maybe it was the aux-pod? Dunno which one it is, but I sure wish I had it instead of the neo Ion)
