I have a Mac formatted 4G 20 Meg iPod, which I have begun to use as a combo appt. book, hard drive for backing up my work, a voice recorder, and an MP3 player. I am now going to have to transfer files between windows and apples. Does anyone know whether, if I reformat my iPod to the windows hard drive protocol, will I lose the ability to use iSync to update my calendar and address book, and will it change the functionality of the Griffin iTalk microphone? If so, then using Macopen on a PC will be a better solution for me. I am not really concerned about my MP3 files - those are easily replacable. I also have no need to transfer music between the PC and Mac. I only use my Mac for music.

Thanks
