420i changes iPod settings?

just a quick...

when I plug my 4g40gb into the adapter it changes my settings to "repeat" and also when holding the menu button for more than 2 seconds it no longer activates the backlight.

Is this just how it goes? :confused:

I haven't noticed any changes with my iPod, but you never know...

well it changes the "repeat" and "backlight" functions on mine. If I take off repeat the next time I plug into the 420i it turns repeat back on...

when you press and hold menu the backlight does not come on anymore. I have to go back to settings and adjust them...

oh well, i guess its just the way it goes...
