iPod won't go on

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. yesterdayevening i loaded my iPod via my pc, cause i left my Fire-wire cable at my nephew's place, So in the morning i picked up my iPod and i pressed play and it did't go on, and it won't reset.
what's wrong?
