Alright, I've had my iPod connected to a Nakamichi CD45z through the aux port using a Belkin adapter. I'm tired of using the ipod to select songs - it's too hard to view the ipod while driving the car and I don't want to get in an accident. So, the main reason I'm considering buying a CDA 9830 and 420i is for convenience. I don't expect any sound quality improvement. However, I expect the navigation to be straightforward and quick - how bad is the wait time? Is navigation relatively easy? If I wait for a 2005 model, do you think there will be much of an improvement? When do 05 models come out? Thanks all.
