does anyone here have a VIA usb 2.0 card or built-in motherboard ports?
I had a problem with my ipod not being recognized on my motherboard ports, which are VIA VT6202. So I went out and bought a usb card, and it turns out that this card works on the same chipset. It recognized the ipod as a high-speed device, but now after transferring about 200 songs, it craps out on me and my computer runs very very slow or just hangs. So I went out and bought a firewire card, and everything works fine.
So does anyone have a fully-working ipod working on via-controlled usb ports (specifically vt6202)? I'm just wondering, to see if I'm the only one with the problem.
