Hi,
I will shortly be getting a new ipod (it has been dispatched!). All my CDs are currently loaded on my PC (Win XP) using the software which came with my previous ipod (last model smaller hard drive). When I get the new software do I install it? In which case will it simply update the out of date bits or will it wipe my hundreds of CDs already loaded on it? Obviously I will want to register my new ipod etc, but would like up to date software without wiping my CD's off will it still do this?
