ok, i am a noob when it comes to car audio, but i cant imagine it is too complicated, i do have electric wiring skills.

now what i want to do is spend the least amount of money possible and have the KCA-420I and a supported alpine head unit.

i really dont know much about this stuff but i think i can get it all combined into a christmas birthday present thing (my birthday is about 3 weeks before christmas and im not impatient or anything).

my car is a 1991 chevrolet camaro. the speakers are completely shot (they hiss and pop, and the bass slider on the stereo doesnt make any difference). my mom is giving me new speakers for my birthday, we picked out some 3 way speakers for the front and back that sound really good.

so really uhh i guess what im asking is...

i know the KCA-420I is going to be at the most $100 dollars... and an alpine cd player that is ainet compatible will probably be $150-$250.

what alpine cd players would be compatible with the kca-420i?
all of the new ones?

thanks in advance, sorry if this post is kind of disorderly

btw i dont have any experience in putting a car stereo in, i dont think its very hard if there are so many people that do it but im just curious, so i dont jump into something and mess up 300 dollars worth of equipment

Get a headunit that is over 9825, so the 9827 would work fine, but don't get anything below the 9825. The 9827 I believe is $250-$300, but if you really want to spend some money, go with the 9835 ($549) :D
