I'm going to be recieving my 40 GB 4th Generation Apple iPod probably in a month, and i want to buy another hard drive so that i will have enough room for all my music. I wanted to make sure first that i would have enough room, so i want to get an external hard drive. I want one of the two:

Lacie: http://www.superwarehouse.com/LaCie_80GB_External_USB_2.0_Hard_Drive/300698U/ps/329195

or

Maxtor

The Lacie has twice as much capacity and is cheaper, and smaller. Which one should i get, are both compatible with an iPod for a PC and are the of good quality.. Thank you.

LaCie is a very good company and i personally know that they are. Ive used some of thier External drives. Why not opt for the 1.6 Terabyte drive for 1,200$US? Heh...just kidding. Id with LaCie all the way.
