Hardwire questions - Satillite radio

I have a 2004 Ford Expedition with satillite radio capability but it doesnt have satillite radio installed. Is there a way i could convert the extra unused satillite radio port to an aux audio input (sorta like the AAI-NIS)? Or would the AAI-NIS work in my car?

I have a 2004 Ford Expedition and am wondering if anyone gave you any good advice. I also have an unused satellite button and 6 disc in-dash CD changer.

If anyone knows which converters can be used so I can hardwire a 3.5 mm jack to plug in my iPod PLEASE let me know. Everything I read says it can't be done without interfering with the rear DVD player. I'd prefer to let the kids watch movies in the back listening through headphones while my wife and I listen to tunes through our iPod.

Any ideas? Many thanks!
