Sony new MDR-EX81SL

For all you sony fan's new Sony products coming this fall. Our favorite I4U News Tipster Jason K. somehow got them and forwarded images of upcoming Sony marketing material to us.

One of them is the new MDR-EX81SL headset featuring a new design for wearing. The headset has ear hooks and the heads are turnable. The MDR-EX81SL are coming in black and white. The white version is of course important to iPod owners.
We reviewed the japanese import Sony MDR-EX71SL Fontopia headsets and were impressed.

It doesn't look like they create a "seal" like my 71s do, but I could be wrong.

After reading the specifications, it looks like its performance is as same as the EX71 with different design.

I like the 51 and 71's style better,those look as if they would be painful for long listening,Dont they?

Podio, I totally agree...I am quite used to the 71's now and they're on for really long periods of time. I'd wear my Senn 595s, but my GF says I look like a geek with them on.

It's always cool to see Sony canalphone products, but they should be concentrating on bridging the low end to high end canalphone market.

yea those 81's seem to be a pain to keep on my ears for a long time...

the 71's now fit really well... i cant count how many times i fell asleep with them on...
