Hi
does anyone know if it is possible (and if, how then?) to change or modificate the surface/desktop/GUI of an iPod? Like putting your favourate Logo as a starting image in the right folder of the GUI or so... similar to changing your wallpaper/screen image at your Mac?
happy for help
regards
Ingo

welcome to the lounge :)
when you have the iPod connected to your mac, do a 'get info' on the iPod icon on your desktop and copy and paste whatever icon you want over the iPod icon in the get info window and that should be it. i know that some icons are apparently harder to change then others, but i don't believe the iPod is one of them.

install linux on ipod :o
then you can have watever startup screen you want (within limitations of teh screen)
but then again why would you want to change the icon for since the only time you'd see it is if you resetted the ipod all the time.
aside from linux on ipod theres nothing else
Did they get Linux working on the iPod? The last info I saw on that was a demo. It wasn't functional on an iPod.
