etymotic er4p are they worth it?

Anybody out there use the etymotic er4ps with their ipod? I am considering a pair on ebay for $219.00 shipping included which is a great deal. I just wonder if anyone other than the reviewer here has a pair and how they sound with the ipod. I would appreciate the input..... thanks

The are many Ety 4p fanatics on www.head-fi.org. The consensus on that board is that they work well with an ipod and are worth it.
