Hi, I was hoping if someone could please suggest a pair of earphones for around $100 or less
I listen to music whenever I ride the subway, and I want to be able to hear my music instead of the crazy homeless guy that's sitting 10 ft away :D
I guess good sound and noise-cancellation is what I'm looking for
A BIG thanks for any feedback :)

These are the ones i got, the price if i remember, is 40$ US (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000065BPA/qid=1096733529/sr=8-6/ref=pd_csp_6/103-2469119-0020602?v=glance&s=pc&n=507846)
Those are cans, I would also suggest in-ears such as Shure e2c's and the Etymotic ER-6i

enjoilax did you even read his post? Why in the world would you recommend headphones, especially open-air, when he asked for isolating earphones?
Anyway knopix... I would recommend the Shure E3c or the Ety 6i. Both are a little over $100 but it's probably worth it over the Shure E2c. Most people agree that Shure's a bit more rugged, so if you're worried about them on the subway that might be a better choice... but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Do some searches and see which sound you want.

wow, did you even read my post? Look under the links, moron.
BTW: My Sennheiser's (the HD212 Pro's) Isolate better then my dad's Bose Quiet Comfort's with an active Noise Isolator.
I stand by my recomendation of those 2 cans.

Yes I saw that line but you just mention them as an afterthought. You recommend the HD570 for this guy and then call me a moron? Nice.

Whoops, looking at 570's You are right, but i stand by the 212 pro's.
Whatever. I don't have the time for this, and don't feel like getting into a flame war, i need to clear up crap at the bank.

Alright, no harm done. I could've been a little more diplomatic, too.

I recommend the E2's. I don't think the E3's are worth it at all for the price difference over the E2's which can be found for 70 shipped. I've used both.

Thanks a million for the help :)
I have a question, is there a sound difference between E3c and the Etymotic ER-6i? because I found the price to be the same
and which one is more comfortable?
