View Full Version : Linux on a 4G?
Hi, ive been looking to experiment with linux on the ipod, but the current version of the program doesnt work with the 4th generation ipod. Ive visited the webpage associated with linux on ipod and it looks rather abondonded... last update was in April. Any news on if there will be (or is) a working linux on 4th gen ipod comming out?

Another question:
When I take my ipod out of my pocket, sometimes the screen is all multicoloured... and there is a line in the middle of the screen. Is this normal? Why does it happen? any way of fixing it?

The multicolored appearance is a normal effect. It's the same as wearing polarized sunglasses and looking a car's tinted windows, it gives off a rainbowy appearance. It's just the type of screens make with the iPod, nothing to wory about. Also, the 4th Gens all seem to have that line in the middle, so it isnt an uncommon thing...
