Extended Warranty

When can I purchase the extended warranty? Must I purchase it when I first bought my iPod mini, or can I purchase it any time?

I was thinking to wait till my 1st year warranty runs out before considering whether to get the extended warranty.

I assume you're talking about AppleCare... You must purchase it within one year of buying your iPod.

It doesnt matter when you buy it as long as it is within one year.

I thought this when i bought applecare, but it turns out that it just gives you an extra year 12 months after your purchase date.

You're best off buying from ipod purchase date, as applecare telephone support only lasts 90 days with normal cover, but the full 2 years with apple care.
