I recieved my Vaja Ivod case for my 4g iPod today. It is everything I expected and more. I don't have a single thing to complain about the case. The leather is incredible and the case protects the iPod extremely well. Much to my surprise, it even includes a built-in screen protector! The rivet system is the most surprising part of the system; it is incredibly sturdy but so small. I will post pictures as soon as I can find my digital camera.

I also received my 4g Ivod case today. It is an excellent case, by far the best one i've owned so far. I have an all black one, and I also have the ipod painted in black by colorware. It looks very classy in all black. In fact, I like it so much that Im scared to get the case scratched as much as I was scared to get the Ipod scratched. Unfortunately I can't take pictures because I don't own a digital camera.
The only minor problem i've had with it is that it is a super tight fit on the Ipod. It took a while using all my strength to remove the case, and I'm not a flimsy guy. I'm worried that whenever I need to remove the case (which shouldn't be that often), I might scratch the Ipod cause its soo tight. But other than that minor gripe, I'm loving my new case.

Also, does anyone know where I can get some clear plastic clickwheel protectors for the 4g? The case leaves the clickwheel exposed so i'm worried it may scratch from heavy use, especially since its painted.

I ordered mine at the very end of August. If I get it before October, I'll be happy. I ordered this (http://www1.vajacases.com/vaja/catalogo.nsf/htmlmedia/bap071i_comb/$file/ccedar-green_moro.jpg) color combo, with the rivet system, rivet system accessory pack (want to see if I can fashion an armband for working out using the fabric pin, or if not that, use the hook attachment to hook it onto the treadmill), and my name engraved in the back. I also ordered some of the Trendy Geek pod shields to give the screen and metal back an extra layer of protection, as I understand they can still get scratched up inside the case from dirt getting trapped between the screen and the case, and getting ground in due to movement / vibrations.
I figured if I'm gonna drop the dough on such an expensive case, might as well go all out.
I'd love to see the rivet clip system in action if you can take some pics.

I actually ordered the exact same thing as you although my case came in blue/gray. The rivet system is great and I think I am going to get a lot of use out of the additional rivet kit also. I could easily see fashioning an armband with the fabric pin and possibly a sweat band or something. I also ordered some Trendy Geek PodShields for the iPod, mainly because I was under the assumption that the Vaja case came with no screen protection. I ended up actually removing the PodShield parts before I put the iPod in the Vaja case because it is a pretty tight fit. I don't think the PodShield is needed with the vaja case, especially if you don't plan on removing the iPod from the Vaja case very often.
I will try to dig up the digital camera soon so I can take some pics of the Vaja case and the rivet system.

Didn't think about that. I don't care so much about scratches on the back, as I do on the screen, so if it's a tight fit, I'll just put the screen protector on. Arguably, I could have gotten a pack of screen protectors for cheaper in this case though. Oh well. They'll protect my iPod until my Vaja comes in the mail, in any case. (Right now I'm using a sock :) )
