I received my Radtech PodSleeve for my 4G 40 gig. First of all, it comes nicely packaged in a tube that looks like a fuse. It's a nice design and I give them credit for being creative. The size is great...it's very thin and it barely changes the size of the ipod at all. Its perfect for carrying the Ipod in your pocket. That's about all it has going for it though.
The build quality is below average at best. The screen protector is not square like it should be. Before you go and say I put it on incorrectly let me tell you this...it's not...it slides on over the screen and no matter what it's too tall on the right hand side. So basically the sleeve itself is deformed...making the screen look 'un-square' when you look at it. Anyway, the material it's made of is like felt...so this whole 'optex' is the greatest material is a bunch of crap...it's felt. I can say that I like the way it feels in my hand though...but it does pick up a lot of dust and lint being that I bought the black one.
So you all might want to know if it's worth the 20 bucks to pick one up. I say, it depends. I am planning on using it at the gym (i don't like belt clips) so it's going to work perfectly for what I need. It doesn't need to be a fashion statement at the gym so I'm cool with it. My Vaja is being made right now so I'll have that when I want to show my baby off.
So it's a decent product and it fits well (besides the screen) so I can recommend it if you plan on pocketing your ipod and you don't want to scratch it.
