I was so excited, I documented the arrival of my new iPod here:

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


But looking at the thumbnails, pretty cool. It's amazing how BIG the iPod and box looks when there is nothing of size reference next to it. You'd think you were unpacking a television or something until you finally see the little iPod in all it's glory at the very end.

Curious -- works at home and at work. But I've heard that the js that FrontPage uses to make the "slide show" isn't very good.

Heeey, i remember that excitement when the box arrived. Mine came in just like yours, same package.

I've documented mine on pictures too... Its like a little baby about to born.... the whole process from Fedex package to unwrapping to finally setting it up.... Hope i'm not too crazy here, its my 1st iPod!!

when my original 10 GB iPod showed up I was soo excited...until I opened the box...
Inside I found two rolls of packing tape, but no iPod! Someone had stolen the little beauty while it was in route. Called Apple(after I woke up from pasing out!) and they were REALLY cool about it. The guy said they have a process for this exact thing, and he called FedEX to report the problem. FedEX sent someine out to ask a few questions and inspect the package and within a week I had a 10 GB iPod in my hands.
I was really impressed with the way Apple handled it, I se why they are rated so highly for customer service.

never did find out. i assume it was someone at a FedEX sort facility, had to be someone who knew what was in that package.

Holy Cr*p! That's perfectly horrible! Glad the story had a happy ending, though.
