View Full Version : Apple Carrying Case
I am ordering an iPod (40GB), and considering getting a carrying case for it.. Does this case protect the pod good enough from dust, scratches and general damage? iPod accessories are really hard to come by in Norway.

Not really. Pretty much it's only function is to enable you to carry the iPod on your belt, and match the iPod's minimalistic style while doing so. It doesn't completely cover the iPod, and it's been known to cause scratching. I'd go with something else if you want to protect your iPod.

get the extrememac deluxe leather ipod case...it will also hold a 4th Gen ipod and is lss likely to scratch ur ipod than the stock apple case...The case itself ha a very sleek and simple design and doesnt make ur ipod look bulky at all...The only flaw with the case is the velcro fastener which starts to deplete as time goes on...the positive aspect is that the case has a lifetime warranty and extrememac will replace the case immediately. Their customer service is PHENOMINAL!!!
