View Full Version : APOLOGY from MARWARE/Hurricane Frances

I would like to issue an apology to all Marware customers who are trying to reach Marware and are getting nothing but ringing phones and unanswered emails.

We have been closed since Thursday as a result of the upcoming threat of Hurricane Frances and will hopefully reopen on Tuesday, Sept 7.

Anyone who has been trying to get through, we are sorry for any frustration or confusion. Our entire area of the state has pretty much been shut down and we can do nothing more than ride it out.

I expect Tuesday to be very hectic as we scramble to set up the offices again and get everything up and running. We will do our very best to get as many orders out as we can and cover the phones, but please don't be angry if we are unable to assist right away. It will take a few days to get caught up and back to normal. There is only so much that is humanly possible to accomplish in a day.

Marware values our customers above all else in the business. However, we also value family and friends in our personal lives. In the light of this oncoming hurricane, we are with family and/or friends helping each other through this challenge and this is our immediate priority. Some of us have been evacuated and we hope that upon return all is ok. Others such as myself who are able to stay put will do what we can to help our family, friends and neighbors weather the storm safely.

I hope that at least some of our customers find this post. You are the most important part of our business and without you we have no need to be there. I just wanted to let people know the situation and I thought this would reach the most.

We will do everything we can to resume business as usual but please be patient with us if we cannot accomodate you immediately. We have a lot of work ahead of us but be assured we haven't forgotten our values and commitment to our customers. You will all be our top priority again once this crisis is passed.

Moderators, if you can think of a better place to post this message, please feel free to do so!

Thank you all for the support. It looks as if we won't get the worst of it, but it's still going to be with us for a bit. Thanks again.

Mike,
What it means is, as Frances has been and gone, Ivan has been and gone, Sept 7 has been and gone, hopefully you are back up and running. So your announcement is no longer needed. Or is it?

We have been up and running however now Jeanne is on the way. Definitely do whatever you deem necessary. The announcement was only intended as an announcement at that time, kill the thread if you need to. I just wanted to let ppl know the scoop at the time. I can do it again later if need be. No worries sir. I just did not know what "unstuck" meant! We may make cool cases, but I am not hip to all the forum lingo!

Mike,
No problems - I know Florida is having a rough time right now. I have friends up in the Pan Handle and Ivan came a bit too close for comfort to them.
If you need to warn members of delays to orders due to further hurricanes just post away - we'll stick them as necessary.
