Hi, sorry if i sound stupid, im new here and just bought my ipod yesterday... im thinking of getting a car charger for this. I will be doing a lot of travelling internationally..philippines, indonesia, europe and australia) do you happen to know if this will be a problem with different cars in another country? is there a limit for charging the ipod in cars? I know for my cellphone, I can't charge it for more than 20 minutes or else my battery will be burnt out. If you happen to know the answer to this... please message me.. thanks for all your help!

Autos now have the same voltage regardless of where they are in the world. If you buy a car charger it should work in any car anywhere.
As to the "burning out the battery" I've never heard that one before. Sounds like a pitch from a batttery salesman to me. My cell phones charge in the car until they are full then sit there happily in exactly the same way they do when you connect them to an AC outlet at home. I don't see any reason why an IPod would be any different.

ya i dunno where u heard that but any car charger ive ever had u can leave the phone on it and it wont do any harm to it.on that thought the charger that i have for my ipod which is the imonster one. if i leave it on it wont do any harm to the battery. it will automatically detect that its full and will change to a trickle charge which is harmless to the battery but will keep it fully charged while i am using it :D
