I'm looking for a recommendation for a leather case for my 4G 20g iPod. One that is iTrip friendly. No belt clip or removable belt clip would be nice. And alas, one that is not the Vaja, because hubby says it is "freakin' expensive," even though I'm lusting after the dark brown one. (So, like $50 max including shipping.)
It looks like the DLO PodFolio is just about ideal, but I've seen some somewhat bad reviews of it here (dust getting inside and scratching the screen anyway). Plus, it doesn't ship till the end of September. But if I have to, I'll get some sort of screen film to go along with it.
Anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The Piel Frama is pretty cool. That was my second choice to the Vaja.

i have to agree with everyone the vaja cases are expensive yes, worth it? I belive so, I have read the review here at I pod, and have looked around, didnt find anything to trust with my pod so I ordered it
heck I may get a 2nd case if the first one looks good

Unfortunately, Ms_Jewelle, I'm looking for a case that I can easily use my iTrip with, and the Piel Frama doesn't look like it allows that. It is pretty, though, and a little more affordable than the Vaja.
I guess I have to work on hubby.. to make him more amenable to getting the iVod. My birthday IS coming up, after all... but he expressed WAY more disapproval than usual, so I dunno that I'm going to be able to wiggle this one out of him.. :p

Just hold off for a little while, and you'll probably be able to get a 4g Vaja i-vod for $50 (but only in black, red, or white). Apple's online store carries Vaja cases (3Gs are already available there), so that should save on shipping too if you order from there.

I don't know where you live but to repaet joelmole, The Apple Store carries some Vaja cases for 49.95. The question would be, when will the 4G case be in stock?
Heck, if the budget is $50 then spend $50.
