Upload Music to PC

I have my ipod with all its music and got a new PC and wanted to know how to upload the music and then drag it to iTunes without having it erase my iPod music.

Should I do it through Windows Explorer? Where can I find the mp3 files?

Welcome to the lounge. If your iPod is on auto sync then you need to download and install iPod Agent (http://www.ipodsoft.com/ipodagent.aspx) and you can transfer the music back to the computer. Do not install iTunes on the PC until you transfer the music back to the computer. If your iPod is on 'manually manage songs' it won't matter since auto sync is turned off.

I tried to download ipodagent, but my Win2000 could not read the download. Are you aware of sys req needed? Also, is auto syn easy to turn on or off
