I have alot of songs with high bitrates of like 320 and 540 or so. I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the bitrates to 128 or 192 because the higher bitrates use more battery as i have read. Thanks in advance. :)

Go to your iTunes preferences for importing. There you can set the bit-rate for encoding music.
Then right-click on a song (or songs) that you want to convert, and select the "Convert selection to nnn" (where "nnn" is either AAC or MP3, etc.) command. Once it's done, you can delete the high-bitrate version of the song.

thank you. One more question, which bitrate do you all prefer and which is recommended?

128 bit is the default setting for most music players. I personally use 192 bit as my setting.
