Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I was wondering two things.

1.) What way would you guys suggest to get the music off my computer after loaded onto iPod, but still keep on the iPod when I add new songs. Is that even possible? Because frankly, I never wanted my cd collection on my computer, but that's what you gotta do in order for it to be poddin' it up. So is there any way to get iTunes to add new songs and disreguard the fact that the old ones still stay on the iPod and they don't delete all that hard work? Does that make sense to anyone? Haha, and if so please reply.

2.) My car, my iPod... Not a good combination but I must have it! I live in a city so there is no way an FM Trans would work, and believe me, I've found questions like this and no one really answering, just suggesting different brands of transmitters. Alright, let me break down my thoughts on this... Have you guys seen the new BMW commercial inwhich they are now iPod usable? There is this cord in the glove box and you just plug your iPod into it and it plays like a cd... Now what I thought about long before I saw these commercials, is if I could get some car audio place to hook up some kind of female wire to hang out of my cd player, like rig it from the back some how (I'm no car audio expert, I only assume this can be done!) So that my iPod will play on the cd player. I have no tape player so it seems as though it's either extra wire or bust. Anyone know how to shed some light on this problem as well?

Thanks,
Mike

1. turn auto sync off in iTunes. then you can drag and drop til you drop.

2. there is a search field on the top of this forum, there are a few articles in the forums and on the main site about iPods in cars. If in doubt google it. There are plenty of ways to do hardwired setups in cars.
