Tunewear Icewear owners... please leave your feedback here. I, much like a few others, are curious as to what your first impressions are of the skin. I'm very interested in the product and would like to have some personal feedback along with the review provided by the lounge.

any additional comments on the product would be greatly appreciated.

I am expecting mine in the mail this week. I'll post on it when it arrive.

Mine came in today... I'd have to say I love this case.

It's made of a sturdy material that is less soft than the iSkin but not too tough. The top isn't covered but the bottom is (except for the dock). It works well and looks excellent. I honestly prefer this over my Arctic iSkin.

just got my icewear case. first off, i can???t compare it to other cases (e.g., iskin) b/c i haven???t ever used another case or seen one in person. however...

this thing is damn pretty!! the case is very clear???it makes the ipod???s color a little more subtle without completely distorting it. the side ribs add a nice ascetic flair and feel nice in the hand.

i was a bit concerned after seeing a photo of the case in the ipodlounge review. in the photo, the case wasn???t flush with the top of the ipod. however, my case is cut to perfectly fit my ipod, so no worries there.

i think i???ll be very happy with this case. if anyone has any specific questions, i???ll be happy to answer them (i???ll be leaving for san diego tomorrow for a few days, so i may not give a prompt response). cheers.

I must note that this case is a tad difficult to remove. I find it mose useful to push out the bottom upwards.

I find the quality of this case highly exceeds the quality of the iSkin as well... no ridges, no scratches... the case is great and worth every penny.

So you have to set up a Paypal account to get it?

it looks like you have to open a paypal account if you want to order direct from tunewear.

i just checked tunewear's website for distributors/resellers... the only store listed for the US and Canadian markets is tunewear's own online store. a number of stores are listed for other countries... maybe they ship internationally.

on a different note, setting up a paypal account is fairly painless. the only difficulty i ran into was a snag in verifying my (recently changed) credit card billing address... but that wasn't paypal's fault.

good luck.

When you make a paypal purchase, is it billed to your credit card?

Either your credit card or your bank account.

yes, it is billed to your credit card. (edit: apparently your bank acct can be used also, as mentioned above)

this was the first time i have made a paypal purchase. after i made the purchase i recevied 2 emails from paypal. the first verified that i authorized a payment to be made via credit card to some dude at tunewear. the second verified that that same dude had accepted payment. a couple of days later i received an email from USPS that the shipper had shipped the case.
