I received my PIE FRD-AUX kit today and I'm going to take a crack at installing this thing myself before I turn it over to best buy. I believe I'm ready to go except for one small detail:
How do I splice wires together? I know this is a complete noob question but as I have zero electronics/stereo installation experience, it's a necessary one. I bought some quick splice connectors but it doesn't make sense to me how they would work in that it appears that one side is blocked and the other one goes all the way through. Does this mean I should cut the wire on the AUX and let the wire going into the stereo go through? Please let me know if more information or pictures would be helpful and I will provide them.
