So I just picked up my first iPod (4g 20 gig) and its awsome. I also got the apple case and iTrip. Sorry to say, iTrip sucks. It didnt get very good reception at all and was terrible for a good soundsystem like mine. I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara ([URL=http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/478876]). You can check my sound system at my site. What do i need to have my ipod wired to this somehow, if possible? I really need help.

Great looking Jeep, man. If your Jeep's Alpine system has CD changer controls, then direct wiring the audio & 12V from your iPOD should be a piece of cake. If you can solder, then find yourself a CD changer cable for the Alpine head unit. Next, find a pin-out diagram from either the internet, or buy a service manual for about $20.00 from many of the online stores that sell them.
Now cut and strip one end of the CD changer cable and find out throught the pin-out diagram which wires are Left, Right, +12V, power GND, and audio GND (they are seperate).
