I have a 2003 Ford F-150 Supercrew. I have the Pioneer XM Radio with FM modulation installed. I have the Premium Single CD/Cassette HU. I'd like to install my iPod using some type of aux input. I have been using the Belkin iTrip, but several of the regular trips I take, I get too much crossover from local FM stations, plus I want to improve the sound quality. I'm really don't want to use the cassette adapter because I don't think it looks very clean.

I looked on the Pioneer unit hoping there was an Aux In, but no luck. I don't want to pull the HU out just to see if there is an Aux in, but from what I hear there isn't. I've read some of the post and see lots of options, but has anyone installed in an F-150? I seen other Ford installations.

Thanks

I have a 1999 150 XLT. I got a aux input device from PIE. Does your radio have a cd changer button on it?

http://www.pie.net/aux_ford.htm looks like the FRDN-AUX is the one you woudl use.

No, that's part of the problem. It doesn't have a Cd Changer button on it. I just went out and looked to see if I could see anything on the Pioneer XM unit too, but no luck.

On most all of the post I read, it appears that you need to have a CD Changer button.
