where to put ipod in crv? (pictures)

ok, i took some pictures of the dash and console of my 1998 honda crv for ideas on where to install my ipod. i guess in the tray that has my change, and i think there will be enough room for a dock, or in the cup holders. i could easily hide the wires in either spot which is good i guess. i wouldve preferred to have it near the wheel on an ac vent but that doesnt look possible with these vents.

ps: i am replacing that stock hu with smoe other one with an aux input.

Between the middle vents, tilted towards you..
I'd normally say to put it left of the stereo, but the automatic stick spoils that option..

Ah, spotted another option.. Left of the steeringwheel, just above the mirror-controls..

ok do you think that spot to the left of the wheel would work? i want it to the left of the wheel just didnt think there was space. which mount do you recommend?

I think the change drawer would be perfect if a dock will fit in there.
