Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I found these on Ebay and I can't any reference anywhere about the ZV400 pro Ipod Mini earphones. The guy is in China and I know China is notorious for producing bootleg products however these look cute.
Anyways, please tell us if they are the real thing or a cheap POS pair of earphones.
Thanks

I've never seen or heard mention of them. If these are new, they'd certainly announce these like they announced the in-ears. I would just go for the EX71s. ;)

Hong Kong is famous for counterfeiting everything.
These are probably $2 phones that have been marked to say "apple" in the WRONG FONT.

Fascinating. They look like modified Sennheiser MX (the earphone shell is certainly that of the Sennheiser/Sharp/iRiver phones).

The font is wrong, but a nice looking counterfeit. Now I'm sure sound would be a different issue.

If they've included the MX300 driver along with the body, then it'll actually be more accurate (although with less bass) than the iPod phones.

definitely fake.. does apple use that green apple next to the mini?
but anyway the "music" logo in the top left hand corner screams fake... china's fake goods are characterised by out of point things like that :)
i've got a few faked nike shirts from china.. the labels and tags are so similar. but they've got out of point things written on the labels like.. "mountain adventure" or something

omg.. ppl READ the auction. he never says anywhere that they are APPLE earphones. it specifically says "Although it is designed specially for the Apple IPOD MP3 player, it is also can be used in almost all other kinds of players." its kinda obvious that these arent fake earphones or apple rip offs, but some random earphones from some random company that are for ipods...

those are definately fakes but look pretty good for counterfeits. As mentioned above, they look like short cord versions of the Sennheiser series.

That means nothing, tons of products are copied and then sold as the genuine article.
Read this for more info:

Or do a Google search for counterfeit products for additional info.

The person who made this counterfeit is really dumb. They left the Sennheiser package behind this. If you look the bottom right of the blue says sen.

I believe the blue packaging with Sennheiser is for a different pair of earphones. If you look at this (http://i11.ebayimg.com/02/i/01/fa/af/de_1.JPG) image, you can see that the said earphones are in a white packaging.
