Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. The Belkin Tunecast is just not working in the overcrowded FM market I live in. I'm looking for another solution to use my iPod in my car.

I'm thinking of the SiK imp

and the Audiovox FM Modulator

Does anyone have experience with either of these products? Any other suggestions.

Thanks,

BB

I thought this was cool:

Otherwise, I would try the Monster iCarPlay Wireless

I use the cassette adapter to play my mini in the car. You can get them at Radio Shack or any electronics store. They go for around $20.

There are really technical ways of playing your ipod in the car or really simple ways. i have gone for the simple which involves a 3.5mm connector lead, costing about $5, plugged into the headphone socket of the ipod and into the aux socket of my car stereo. This took me all the way around europe this summer. i know purists say take the sound from the dock connector but on a french autoroute the sound difference isn't noticeable. I have the cheapest car charger but for emergency use only as it does create a slight hum (I think they all do). If you want to get really complex then there are enough posts with wiring ideas etc. but I haven't had any problems at all with my rough and ready solution.

What type of head unit do you have? There are several devices out or coming out to integrate your iPod with auto system. But they do cost more.
