Right so you can get the replacement silicon at audio cube - http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php?products_id=423&osCsid=cbe99f91ea8ae60dcf1ad0214f071ef1
But it's gonna cost $22 (??12) to send em over here to the UK. ??12 for 2 little bits of silicon. Thats wrong that is.
It seems like audiocubes is the only place you can get them, i couldnt find any mention of replacements on the sony site, or anywhere else.
Anyone know a place in the UK that would stock the replacements? I need the small ones..

Hi afxtwn,
??12 for 2 ear plugs - That's down right robbery!
Have you called Sony UK? Or even better write to the UK Head Office. Maybe they can send you some for free? Is you ask nicely! Hehe!
It's a shame there's not some sort of trading page on this site. I have a set of the Small I don't need. You could have them for nothing as I use Medium.

Here are bud replacements from the US Sony (http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/web/productSearch.do?searchOperation=modelSearch&modelNum=MDREX71SL&searchText=MDR) replacement site. I'm not really sure how much cheaper it is, since replacement buds are pretty much expensive no matter where you get them from.
However, if you're looking for the white, you're out of luck.....White replacements aren't available in the US, so audiocubes is really one of your only options for those. (Or you can post in the Classifieds section and see if someone will sell you their extra set....)

Crouching donkey - you have a spare set of smalls?! How about we do a trade - my set of mediums for your set of smalls? That way we both got spares and Sony wont get any more of my cash :D

afxtwn, yeah that sounds cool!
It makes perfect sense really. People trading something they don't need for something they do.
Pvt Message me!
Anyone else have a lot of trouble with them falling off?
Ive just been travelling china and they kept falling off. About the fourth time I lost one. No luch with spares in beijing but the sony shop in singapore had medium in stock for 7$ each.
I think its because they were all sweaty. Washing them seemed to help.

This is the first time they fell off for me, but i think thats the nature of the beast because they are removeable. Although everytime i look at them i think they could do with a good wash!
