I have just installed my iPod Mini in my car. My HU's AUX and Belkin Auto Kit helping me out.

However, there's just one thingy that seems to be missing.

A 'wireless' remote control with LCD screen. This would be a perfect add-on to my in-car entertainment system.

The basic idea would be to have a small gadget like the iTrip or a dock input thingy to attach to my mini. Of course, this gadget would be the infrared receiver.

Now, the remote would have an LCD screen with info about track info and song title and could be easily mounted on the streering wheel's rim.

I wonder if any developers are thinking about this... hmmmm

Well the NaviPod is a wireless remote for iPods, but no LCD.

And if your head unit is a 2004 Alpine with AI-NET and a remote you'll be able to control your iPod with the Adaptor coming out in late September.....still no LCD but you can see everything on the screen of the head unit

The RemoteRemote2 is a great wireless remote, though it's not LCD. http://www.engineeredaudio.com/products/remote2.html
