Toyota Highlander Install

I have a 2002 Toyota Highlander and a 3rd gen. ipod. I want to hardwire it in to get the best sound. The problem is that the factory stereo is an toyota upgrade. It has a 6 disc changer built-in. Can I still use something like the icelink or something similar? Thanks.

my mom has a 2003 or 04 highlander and has that 6 cd changer also, and i dont htink there is any aux in the back, but of course ive never been back there lol
