Headphone jack kinda loose?

Is it normal cos my headphone jack is kinda loose.... well at least not really tight..... like if i just hold my ipod by pulling the earphone wire, the ipod will drop.....

i would ask what cd player or md player u know of that u can hold by ur headphone wire without it falling off...the ipod mini is light, but substantial enough that it wont be supported by simply the headphone jack.

It does sound like it's loose (compared to mine, at least, which when I tested was able to be supported by the headphones).

mine isnt exactly super tight, but i know what you mean (well atleast i think i do) and mine is kinda the same, i feel the jack isnt as tight as a CD players jack would be

Mine can't be held up by the Apple Earbuds, but can be held up very easily by my Sony MDR-Z800 cans(which was a wrong product sent by a stupid ebay seller from Hong Kong).

Size does matter :).

My iHP-120 can! My Karma will for a little bit then start to slide off eventually.

i had this problem before. went to the apple store, told em, and they replaced my mini

i dont have a mini but my 15g can go it easily
