Sennheiser HD-555's w/ 4th Gen iPod?

Hi, I am new to iPodlounge. I am in the market for a new pair of headphones and I find most in-ear phones uncomfortable. I am interested in the Senn HD-555 headphones and was curious if these cans can be driven by the iPod without an amplifier.

I think they can. I have them with my de-volume-limited EU pod and they are loud enough for ME. If you like deafening noise then I'd say no. I suggest you get them.
