Garage Band For PC?

Does anyone know of a program like Garage Band but for the PC? I want to be able to make my own music and put it on my ipod....Maybe fruityloops? is that anywhere near Garage Band? I remember trying fruityloops though and i dont remember it to have presents and making it easy to create music without any instruments.

sonic foundry's acid is a very good one. im not sure how many loops it comes with.

Didnt Propellerhead come out with something earlier this year or late last year?

Acid's pretty complicated, actually. It's hard to come close to the simplicity of Garageband when you're looking at an app for the PC. However, it is still a good app and I would recommend it.
