Sports (cheap) ipod case...

i was thiking...

I am a snowboarder and i dont really want to bring my ipod when i go snowboarding... then i saw on some site a padded case that looked EXACTLY like some camera pouches...

so...would it be possible to get some kind of digital camera case for my ipod... like say some ''sony sized'' camera pouch.

since they are very padded and are made to not scratch... it should work, no?

once i get my ipod, ill bring it at futureshop and try some cases out :)

There are a lot of good camera cases that would work, but there are differences between camera cases and things like the www.grindergear.com cases.

For example- the foam used can be a relatively cheap urethane foam or thin Stryofoam, or a more expensive denser or tougher product.

That said, I think that many of the cases you'll find for cameras will work just fine- as long as you plan for enough room for the headphone connector.

(Another benefit to most camera cases is that there is usually room for headphones, etc.)
