Heres a few
mobile phone scrambler, tazer, itrip incorporated inside casing, finger print activation so if some dirty swine nicks it at least they cant use it. bluetooth remote. that also works with a mac so itunes can be controlled from bed.

recording features, remote with display, moodlogic software/firmware, brushed aluminum finish option for the back of the ipod..
these are the things I would love :)

I think current ipods got limited recording facility (something like 5 secs) so fingers crossed new software or firmware update will add to this feature. although that could be a load a rubbish i read somewhere cause i dont think I saw it in apples offficial speel. forget optional aluminium, its got be optional platinum. also a larger colour lcd screen that could play gameboy advance roms on.

ugh, please, no gameboy schlock. I don't want a color LCD if that will affect battery life, which it would. It's for music, and I don't need a color display to listen to music.
What I'd most like to see are recording features enabled by firmare, and a decent remote (like Sony puts on its MD players) to use in place of Apple's POS remote.

1. longer battery life
2. the clean lucite finish (apple seem to be cutting costs at production level. compare the 12" powerbook next to the 15" one and it looks fairly cheap. it seems the updated ibooks, 900mhz, look a lot cheaper than the older ones, as well)
3. real on-the-fly playlists (but this has been discussed in countless threads)

399$ CDN for a 30gig iPod 3rd Genfor canadian users. It should be same price for Canadians and Americans. Most Mp3 players i've seen here are the exact same price as the one's in US, but canadian currency.

m.r.m, the newest opaque iBooks do look cheaper. I got my iBook when Apple was selling the 'icebooks', so it looks better constructed than the new ones. And the plastic on my iBook is CLEAR!!! (painted white on the underside, not white itself like the opaque books.)
Oh yah, what I want is...uhh crap...umm...CUSTOMIZABLE EQ!! C'mon Apple...iPod EQ is better than some CD players, but why can't it be customizable?! And maybe Mega Bass?

longer battery life therefore aloowing for a color or non color screen, listeners choice, also new games.

I'd really like to be able to use the iPod as a digital wallet with my digicam. Include USB 2.0 and Firewire converter cables in each box and just plug up back to back and suck all my pictures down.

BT for connecting wireless remotes and headphones
BT or WLAN for short transfers (onyl 3 files, contacts i.e.)
using a chellphone as remote via Bluetooth would be cool

I'd like to have a button that would display all songs by the artist currently playing. Also, I'd give up some battery life for a color display that could show digital pictures. It would be great if you could load blocks of pictures like a playlist, then scroll through them with the forward/back buttons

I wish for...
- a better display for reading ebooks (like on a palm), maybe a power-saving color oled-display
- a possibility to transfer my images directly from my digital camera to the ipod (like wolfpacker said)
- longer battery life, at least 12 hrs.
- better recording capabilities
To see it available in a colour besides white. Aluminium to match my PowerBook would be great, or black, etc.
Remote with an LCD.
Longer battery life.
